Part Deux

Our friends Mike, Jessica and Ella (almost 6 months) were headed to Disneyland to use the 3rd day of their 3-day pass this past weekend and invited us to join them....Brian and I intended not to stay the whole day, but once we were there we were having so much fun, we stayed until 9:00.  Emily is a party animal.  She doesn't mind if we're out late---the only problem is, she still wakes up early, so it's harder on us than on her!  

We were very surprised to see the minimal wait time (5 min) on most rides.  The rides that did have a wait, we got fast passes and were able to watch each other's kids so we could all ride the "adult" rides.  The longest wait was for toy story and that was only 20 minutes.  We accomplished a lot!

The only thing that almost ruined our day is when Brian lost his phone on California Screamin'.  Yeah, we had no idea if it fell out of his pocket through the loop or what.  Let's just say, it was a very TENSE few minutes....He had already asked the Screamin' employee at the start of the line if anyone had turned it in---they called up front and no one had---but thankfully, he listened to his wise wife and got up to the very front of the line to ask the people on the platform---long story short---someone had JUST turned it in right when he started asking about it.  It was such a relief....that's what we get for getting an expensive phone.  I guess I wouldn't have been as upset if he hadn't lost his pass the last time we went....I think someone has baby brain....

The girls sitting on my lap while waiting for Mike/Jessica to get off Screamin---they were not very interested in getting their picture taken because the roller coaster kept going by in their view.  You can see that Emily was watching it go by...I gotta say, it felt really nice holding the 2 little ones....
