Let me guess...naptime? Oh boy. We are hunting for eggs next Sunday, right after church. I might have a similar posting. Emily, you're still pretty stinkin' cute though!
YES! Oh my goodness. Ain't it the truth. Toddlerhood trumps any holiday, special event or expectations Mommy & Daddy have. You are SO right to just have a sense of humor about it. That's all you can do! Or you will. Go. Insane. Much love to ya!
This is reminiscent of a recent picture I now have hanging on our fridge...she must be protesting the commercialization of a truly religious holiday - this girl is going to go places. How smart!
The other conclusion is that she just misses her family from Oregon - yep, I think that's it! By the way, check your mail for a package. Hopefully she'll like Easter presents better than the egg hunting!
Oh how funny...why is it that the things that should upset them don't, and seemingly harmless things set them off? Maybe when she finds out what's inside the eggs, she'll like them better!
